With the cruise industry at a complete standstill, an auction of an expedition cruiseship next Monday will serve as a barometer on whether operators in the adventure cruise sector have enough faith in a possible market recovery to expend capital on what, in any other circumstances, would be a very attractive ship.
The 8,400-gt polar-class cruiseship RCGS Resolute (built 1991) will be sold via judicial auction at 11am on 22 June before the Court of First Instance of Curacao.
