As many as 15 chartering and operations staff at New York-listed Diamond S Shipping have been made redundant Tuesday just hours after the owner announced a surprise collaboration with Norden of Denmark.
News of the job cuts began to circulate Tuesday afternoon in the US market after Diamond had announced it was contributing 28 MR product tankers to the DiaNor venture, which will marketed and operated through the Norden-owned Norient Product Pool.
