Japan’s Itochu Corp and terminal operator Vopak have teamed up to carry out a study into the potential use of ammonia as a bunker fuel in Singapore.
The two companies signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding last week to see if it is feasible to develop the necessary infrastructure.
