A 28-year-old LNG carrier that was originally part of Australia's North West Shelf (NWS) shipping fleet has been bought by the developers of Myanmar’s first LNG-import project.
TradeWinds understands the 127,363-cbm LNG carrier Northwest Seaeagle (built 1992) is now controlled by CNTIC VPower.
The Moss-type ship is at Sembcorp Marine’s yard, where it is being modified, and has been renamed CNTIC VPower Energy.
