Leading vetting agency RightShip is set to introduce a new safety rating for vessels following industry frustration over its current artificial intelligence system, Qi.
Under the new system, dubbed RightShip Safety Score, ships will be rated on a scale of one to five based on their safety performance through 20 safety considerations in six key criteria. The new ratings are slated to begin in September.
