Shipping shares rode positive news on a coronavirus vaccine to broad-based gains in Monday trading as they look to recover from one of their worst weeks of 2020.

New York-traded shipping stocks were mostly up on the day, with dry bulk, containership and cruise operators logging gains, but tankers mixed.
