LNG industry face Rolf Stiefel has moved to classification society Bureau Veritas and is looking ahead to the 2050 decarbonisation challenge.
The former WinGD sales head is taking on the role of regional chief executive for BV Marine & Offshore arm from 1 May after earlier stepping down from the engine-maker in a surprise move.
Stiefel will be based in his home town of Hamburg and be responsible for Central Europe - Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Russia.
