JP Morgan has been upping the ante in its shipping exposure lately, putting particular focus on modern MR tankers.
The transport investment arm of the US financial behemoth has acquired seven such ships over the past 13 months, according to online data.
That includes a recent swoop on four modern MR units sold by US-listed Top Ships and its partners.
