An upturn in Chinese port calls in recent days has given a glimmer of positive news for shipping amid the economic tsunami of the coronavirus epidemic, shipbroker Clarksons said.
Analysis by the world’s leading broker has revealed that calls by all ships, including the largest, have started to rebound from the pandemic-driven collapse around the Chinese New Year in late January.
