Shareholders are taking aim at Norwegian Cruise Line after leaked emails revealed sales staff were pushed to downplay the coronavirus to potential passengers.
In a lawsuit filed in Miami federal court Thursday, shareholder Eric Douglas accused the New York-listed cruiseship owner of publicly assuring investors that bookings were fine, while sales staff were receiving scripts including reassurances to customers that the Covid-19 coronavirus cannot survive in warm temperatures.
