Polaris Shipping, owner of the ill-fated Stellar Banner, has determined that no oil has leaked from the VLOC as a result of running aground off the coast of Brazil.
The 300,630-dwt, 2016-built behemoth's master intentionally grounded the ship after it began taking on water and listing severely about 65 nautical miles (120 kilometres) away from Vale's Ponta da Madeira terminal in San Marcos Bay.
