Diana Shipping has not found a taker for one of its capesizes after all but has scored a better rate on a panamax.
A prospective buyer has cancelled a memorandum of agreement to buy 164,200-dwt Norfolk (built 2002), as announced in late January.
The third-party unaffiliated buyers exercised their right to cancel the contract because it lacked the stipulated cancel date due to unforeseen events unrelated to the ship's condition, Diana Shipping said.
