Shipowners are looking to bring in more crew from eastern Europe as the coronavirus grips Asia.
As global restrictions bite, crewing agency Danica said it is fielding more enquiries from shipping companies seeking alternative sources of seafarers.
But as yet, salaries have not increased due to any shortages, it added.
