Rio Tinto has downgraded its forecast for iron ore shipments for 2020 in the wake of this month’s tropical cyclone Damien.
Shipments from the Pilbara in western Australia are now expected to be between 324-334 million tonnes versus previous guidance of 330-343 million tonnes.
