Vard Holdings continues to build its non-offshore newbuilding orderbook with a deal to build a research expedition vessel (REV).
The ship has been ordered by Norwegian billionaire Kjell Inge Rokke’s Rosellinis Four-10. No financial terms were disclosed.
For Rokke, the project marks the start of a charitable effort that will see him distribute his wealth to good causes.
