A two-tier market for platform supply vessels is starting to emerge in Norway amid a generally tough start to the year for the offshore shipping sector.
Brokers said larger PSVs, particularly of more than 4,000 dwt, are in relatively short supply in the spot market there.
This has prompted several owners to re-flag vessels to the Norwegian register over the last few months, according to Seabrokers.
