The UK’s Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is to investigate if drones can be deployed to help improve the country’s search and rescue operations.
The project will also aim to identify if drones could boost missions by visiting rescue sites ahead of recovery teams providing a full picture of the situation and helping to develop the appropriate response.
