US-listed shipowner SFL Corp has sold its oldest tanker for a price that shows the continued strength of even elderly VLCC values.
The Oslo company, which is part of John Fredriksen’s shipping empire, has disposed of the 300,000-dwt Front Hakata (built 2002), European shipbrokers said. The buyer was not disclosed.
