Genco Shipping & Trading has sent more capesize bulkers into the Atlantic basin after finishing a scrubber retrofit programme for 17 ships.
The New York-listed bulker owner kept a couple in the Atlantic and the rest in the Pacific basin during last year's second half to avoid missing availability slots at Chinese yards, chief executive John Wobensmith said.
"It was so important to get this done," he told TradeWinds.
