Shipowners organisation Bimco has ended its search for a new secretary general and CEO after appointing Institute of Marine Engineering Science & Technology (IMarEST) chief executive David Loosley.
The experienced maritime man will replace the retiring Angus Frew in June.
Denmark-headquartered Bimco said Loosley had been recruited after a "thorough executive search".
