The world's biggest shipbuilder has fuelled order speculation by talking up cooperation with tanker owner Navig8 Group.
China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC), formed from state shipbuilding groups CSSC and CSIC last year, said Sun Wei, a Party member and CSSC deputy general manager, met Navig8 chairman Gary Brocklesby, at its domestic headquarters this week.
"The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and reached consensus on further strengthening communication, innovating cooperation models, and expanding cooperation areas," CSSC added.
