China Merchants Energy Shipping (CMES) has secured fresh cash to put towards its newbuilding drive.

The China Merchants Group company said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange that it had raised net proceeds of CNY 3.59bn ($517m) from a stock sale.
