Stamatis Molaris-controlled Empire Navigation appears to be spinning off its modern MR tankers into a new Oslo-listed company.
The formation of Empire Product Tankers (EPT), registered in the Marshall Islands, was revealed in a brief announcement to the Oslo over-the-counter market.
The description of the vessels involved in the deal tallies with the series of eight vessels being built by Empire Navigation at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD).
