A small tanker and its 16 Malaysian crew have been seized in the Middle East Gulf by Iran's Revolutionary Guard for “fuel-smuggling”, according to Iranian news channels.

The unnamed ship and its crew were arrested 15 nautical miles from Abu Musa island in the southern Gulf on 30 December.
