West African producer Nigeria LNG (NLNG) has taken a final investment decision on its long-planned Train 7 project, which will boost its Bonny Island plant’s production by 35% from 2024.
NLNG had said it would sanction the 8-million tonnes per annum (mtpa) new liquefaction train by the end of this year and squeaked through by inking its decision on 27 December.
