Spanish shipping entrepreneur Vicente Boluda has unveiled plans to run for the presidency of footballing giants Real Madrid.
Boluda is expected to challenge incumbent president Florentino Perez at the end of 2020.
He told a meeting of Valencian businessmen he had the financial means necessary for the bid, according to Spanish press reports.
This is largely due to his position as chairman of Boluda Corporacion Maritima, a family-owned, diversified operation that comprises tugs, tankers and liner shipping.
