Nine Russian seafarers are racing to get back home in time for Christmas after their month-long ordeal stranded onboard an allegedly substandard ship at Portland Port in the UK ended.
The men have been all now been paid and given flight tickets home. The last five to leave are boarding planes on Christmas Eve hoping to make it back home in time for the traditional yuletide celebrations.
