An Aleson Shipping Lines ropax vessel has become embroiled in a crackdown on human trafficking by authorities in the Philippines.
The Philippine Coast Guard said it rescued 13 alleged human trafficking victims onboard the 3,500-gt ropax Antonia (built 1992) in the port of Zamboanga on Monday.
The vessel was about to depart for the Malaysian port of Sandakan when the raid took place.
