Oldendorff Carriers has disposed of another modern Chinese-built handysize bulker.
The German bulker operator has sold the 32,000-dwt Dorothea Oldendorff (built 2009) to an undisclosed buyer, the company confirmed.
Some European brokers said the ship went for a price of $5.5m, but TradeWinds is told this is “completely wrong” and that the price is $6m.
VesselsValue estimates a vessel of the Dorothea Oldendorff's characteristics is worth $6.7m.
