Private equity-backed shipowner Chembulk Tankers has disposed of more of its older tonnage, the latest disclosures from the company show.
The latest disposals from the fleet are the 27,186-dwt Chembulk New York (built 2002) and the 14,312-dwt Chembulk Wellington (built 2004).
Chembulk said it received proceeds of $8m for the large of the two vessels, with the sale completed at the beginning of November.
