Greek owner Eurotankers is said to be the new buyer of a Phoenix Tankers VLCC following a failed sale to Ghassan Ghandour’s Hermes Marine Management.
Brokers have said the 302,000-dwt VLCC Phoenix Vanguard (built 2007) has gone for a firm $41.75m or $41.5m to Greek interests in a strong market.
It was previously reported sold to Hermes for $38.7m,
