Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) has said it is ready to review its safety procedures following a recently released official investigation into a collision between a tanker and a Norwegian frigate last year.
But the New York-listed tanker owner — a shipowning affiliate of Tsakos Group — has declined to comment on the Norwegian police’s subsequent decision to name the master of the 113,000-dwt Sola TS (built 2013) as a suspect in its ongoing criminal investigation into the accident ahead of a court case.
