Sweden's Terntank has ordered two dual-fuel handysize tankers in China that will be able to run on liquefied biogas (LBG) and LNG.

The 15,000-dwt chemical/product/biofuels tankers will also be fitted with a hybrid battery system, onshore power connection and hybrid bow thruster drive.

The pair will be built at AVIC Dingheng Shipbuilding to a design by Kongsberg.
