Genco Shipping & Trading expects its capesize fleet to be “scrubber ready” ahead of the IMO 2020 deadline, despite reports of delays to retrofitting at some shipyards.
The John Wobensmith-led shipowner said it had installed scrubbers on 11 of its 17 capesize vessels, representing a 65% completion rate.
