A unit of Chinese energy giant Cosco has taken over a shareholding from one of its sister companies to free up six LNG carriers for Russia's Yamal project which had become blocked under US sanctions.
A Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing states that Cosco Shipping Energy Transportation has taken over 50% of China LNG Shipping (Holdings).
