Japan’s NYK Line, K Line and MOL liner shipping joint venture, Ocean Network Express (ONE), is tipped to join the push for ultra-large containership newbuildings.
Major shipyards in the Far East have been approached by ONE for up to 10 vessels of 23,000 teu, well-placed shipbuilding sources said.
“The official shipbuilding tender is not out yet,” said a shipbuilding player.
