Onassis company Olympic Shipping and Management has concluded yet another juicy chartering deal for a scrubber-fitted VLCC, extending a rally that sees time charter rates climbing to their highest level in years.
Company’s chief executive George Karageorgiou confirmed broker reports, according to which Mercuria fixed the 319,000-dwt Olympic Lyra (built 2019) for three years at $46,000 per day.
