Norwegian owner Eidsvaag has bought a former World Wide Supply platform supply vessel (PSV) for conversion into a fisheries vessel.
The 3,300-dwt World Opal (built 2013) has been renamed Eidsvaag Opal.
It has been permanently removed from the offshore market, Norway's Seabrokers said.
