A Singapore-based ship manager has been charged with 21 cases of corruption for seeking gratification from suppliers to secure business from a subsidiary of Sinochem Shipping.
Ananthakrishnan Nanda, 48, is said to have obtained SGD 364,400 ($263,436) from various vendors while managing director of Aoxing Ship Management, according to Singapore’s Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB).
