Norwegian bunker company Cryo Shipping is aiming to spearhead the supply of hydrogen as a sustainable ship fuel.
It said it has received government grants for developing suitable infrastructure and is working with domestic ferry owner Norled on a deal for its newbuildings.
The company is already supplying LNG from trucks in Sweden and has said it wants to operate a chartered-in LNG-refuelling vessel.
