South Korean owner HMM has announced a cooperation with domestic shipbuilder DSME on smart-ship technology.
It said it is working closely with the yard on research, development and innovation.
A memorandum of understanding covers real-time service systems based on the "internet of things" (IoT) and design of on-shore platforms for optimised fleet operation.
