Norway's Hunter Group has got its hands on its first VLCC newbuilding as it revealed the bareboat rate it is paying to SFI.
John Fredriksen's SFI paid $180m en bloc or $60m each for three of Hunter's 300,000-dwt scrubber-fitted DSME tankers in a leaseback deal earlier this month.
Hunter had eight on order at the South Korean yard, although one has now been sold.
