Iran is reportedly planning on releasing the 50,000-dwt Stena Impero (built 2019) "in days".

According to Bloomberg, the Islamic republic's foreign ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said the judicial process for releasing the Swedish-owned, UK-flagged MR tanker is nearly complete.

Once that is done, he said, the Stena Bulk ship will be able to sail from Iran.
