Shipowner GasLog is urging the LNG shipping industry to focus on quality over lower costs. The message comes as the shipowner repositions to employ its redelivering tonnage and continues to diversify its chartering base.
Speaking to TradeWinds ahead of its London International Shipping Week event, GasLog head of commercial Jasper Heikens pointed to the significant growth seen throughout all aspects of the LNG industry, including cargo, shipping, the types of customer and competitors.
