Gas shipowner and trader Petredec has ordered up to four handysize ethylene carriers worth just under $200m at Jiangnan Shipyard in China.
Petredec Holdings (Eastern) said it signed a contract for two 22,000-cbm ships, with an options to add another pair of vessels.
No price details were given on the newbuildings which are estimated to be priced at slightly under $50m each.
