Kristian Siem-backed oil and gas contractor Subsea 7 has scooped a deal to develop an oil field off Brazil.
The offshore vessel-owning company will start work in the fourth quarter for Total in the Lapa North East field located approximately 300 kilometres off the coast of the State of Sao Paulo.
The water depth will be 2,150 metres.
The work scope includes the transport, installation and pre-commissioning of 35 kilometres of flexible pipelines and 20 kilometres of umbilicals, connecting five wells to the FPSO Cidade de Caraguatatuba.
