Idan Ofer’s Eastern Pacific Shipping has scored a contract with Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) to employ its six LNG-fuelled containership newbuildings.
Industry sources said the Swiss liner giant has chartered the dual-fuel, 15,000-teu vessels on order at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
MSC is said to have taken the neo-panamax boxships for 15 years.
