An ice-breaking LNG carrier is taking the Northern Sea Route (NSR) on the first Arc7-type vessel delivery voyage through the Arctic passage to the Yamal LNG project for 2019.
The 172,600-cbm newbuilding Vladimir Voronin, which is owned by Teekay LNG and its partner China LNG Shipping, left DSME’s shipyard in Geoje last month and is due to arrive at Yamal’s Sabetta terminal on 11 August.
