Dutch shipowner Anthony Veder is speaking to shipyards in China about a potential order for up to four small to midsize LNG carriers.
Sources said Veder has been in talks with shipbuilders — including Jiangnan Shipyard, Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding and Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co — about two 30,000-cbm LNG carriers with an associated pair of optional berths.
