Finnish shipping technology group Wartsila has formed a new company to supply biogas.
Wartsila Biogas Solutions (WBS) has been formed by merging Wartsila Puregas Solutions, a specialist in biogas upgrading technology, with Wartsila’s biogas liquefaction team.
The market for advanced biofuels is growing in line with efforts regarding the reduction of fossil fuels, the company said.
“Wartsila Biogas Solutions offers products for biogas upgrading to biomethane, and the liquefaction of biomethane into bioLNG," said Arne Jakobsen, general manager of WBS.
